Experience the Future of Healthcare Now!

Do you have health or other issue/s that are stopping you or family members from enjoying their life to the fullest and there doesn’t seem to be an answer?  You don’t have to accept that this is the way it is.

Our bodies are designed to maintain themselves (homeostasis) but for one reason or another, a breakdown in communication pathways be it neurological or chemical, doesn’t allow this to happen.

If you want to experience energy, vitality and freedom from the constraints in life that are holding you back, we can help you achieve your goals.

Bernadette Masefield
NIS Master Practitioner

Hi, I am Bernadette Masefield practitioner and owner of the NeuroFix Clinic in Hamilton specialising in the revolutionary Neurological Integration System (NIS), which is a method of restoring communication between the brain and body. NIS uses muscle testing to find and correct “short circuits” between the brain and body.  The brain is the key to unlocking many of the issues affecting one’s life, whether it be neurological, physiological, emotional or pathological.

Your brain is the control centre for your body’s signalling system monitoring and controlling every cell in your body. Electrical and chemical signals go back and forth between your brain and body hundreds of times a second. These signals can “short circuit” due to stress from infection, trauma, emotions, toxins, viruses etc. Symptoms arise when the body’s automatic signalling system is disrupted. Muscle testing is used to find these short circuits, testing the integrity of the motor-sensory signalling between the brain and the body.

Reflexes on the body are contacted while applying gentle pressure to a strong muscle. If an organ, muscle, joint or other body system is short circuited, the strong muscle will not hold when the associated reflex is touched. This allows practitioners to get feedback directly from the brain to find out why your body isn’t working the way it should. Once these signal breakdowns are found, they can be corrected by making the brain aware of them through a process known as “integration”.  This begins a cascade of neurological events which results in the restoration of normal signalling.

I first came across NIS approximately 24 years ago when looking to help two of my children who were struggling to learn at school with dyslexia and irlens syndrome.  Then after having a stroke I suffered from a number of side effects where there didn’t seem to be a diagnosis or solution. I visited Dr Phillips, founder of Neurological Integrated Systems (NIS) and after receiving one NIS treatment I couldn’t believe that most of the side effects had disappeared.  At the time, I was working as a registered nurse, due to the treatment I received and the benefits I felt, I decided to alter my career path and train as a practitioner.  Having always been passionate about health and wellbeing, NIS is enabling me to help others overcome the challenges they are experiencing and reclaim their health and vitality.

Nikki-Jean King
NIS Master Practitioner

Hi, I am Nikki-Jean King and am fully qualified as a NIS Practitioner having completed my Master’s training in 2018 along with my studies in Health Science, focusing on Naturopathy and Nutrition. I have been working in the NeuroFix clinic since October 2017, generally working Monday to Wednesday in the clinic, as well as travelling to schools to treat children.  My passion is helping children achieve their full potential, whether it be learning, health or behavioural related. Whilst treating children, it is a great opportunity for parents to be treated to ensure their health is also at optimum levels.

I was first exposed to NIS as a child and treated by Dr Allan Phillips, the founder of Neurolink Global and the NIS system (Neurological Integrated Systems).  At 10 years old, I was severely allergic to dairy and other foods, lagging behind at school by 3 years and had extremely poor coordination.  I had been back and forth to Doctors and other health therapists from a baby, my diet was severely restricted and with all this input there was no improvement in my health or other areas of my life.  After the first set of treatments with Dr Phillips, I caught up with my age group in approximately 10 weeks and within the year I was able to freely eat all dairy products and my allergies slowly disappeared. At the age of 16, I won Dancer of the Year for my Dance School.

My goal since childhood has been to become an NIS practitioner as I know how miserable the first 10 years of my life had been, both for myself and my parents.  I know there are a lot of children in the same boat that I was, and I know with the NIS system that I can help change their lives as well.
